Here at VERCIDA we conducted research to find out how our clients are managing Faith Initiatives in the workplace. Who is going the extra mile to ensure equality, opportunity and fair treatment for all, irrespective of belief. Here are our Top 5 Faith-Inclusive Employers in 2018. 

5. EY

As part of the firm’s approach to Diversity and Inclusiveness, EY is delighted to sponsor a number of networks within the firm. These networks support their members in many ways, including connecting people across the business and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

EY runs Interfaith Working group along with many others to focus on better workplace environment for Christian, Jewish, Sikh, Muslim & Hindu networks.

4. Alzheimer’s Society

In 2018 the Alzheimer’s Society held their first event to hear from people affected by dementia who are of faith, about both the challenges they have faced when interacting with their faith or cultural group since their diagnosis and the way in which their community has supported them.

The Alzheimer’s Society also celebrated work that is currently ongoing and continue to explore ways they can continue to support people & employees on their faith and journey in our communities.

3. Eversheds Sutherland

The firm has recently seen the launch of the Eversheds Sutherland Christian Network. The group meets regularly in the office to pray and encourage each other as they practice their faith in Jesus at work.

2. Nationwide Building Society

Faith and BelieNetwork (FaB) Supports employees to bring their personal faith and belief to work, bringing greater fulfilment and enriching Nationwide’s culture.

In Britain today, people of many different faiths live side by side. The concept of a God or a higher being, the afterlife, human nature and many more beliefs, values and traditions form the basis of our society, our workforce, our communities.

Whilst there are some major differences in those beliefs there are also significant overlaps, similarities and common ground. It is these similarities that the Nationwide Faith and Belief network wants to maximise, promote and share.

1. Bank of England

Working with numerous faith networks including Christian, Jewish & Muslim network enabling people across the Bank and the PRA connect with each other when required. BOE have lively discussions on how our faith applies to our lives and in relation to topical issues frequently.

The bank aims to enable the staff’s spiritual well-being is catered for within the Bank by ensuring individuals have access to a multi-faith rooms for the daily ritual prayers.
